Many years ago, when I worked for the Adult Education Service, part of my job was to go into sheltered housing schemes and Resource Centres. One day I delivered a healthy eating 'taster' session in Didsbury. I was delighted that there were so many attendees! The oldest person there was 103.
Everyone watched and listened with interest. We had a giggle and I made a healthy 'knickerbocker glory' for everyone to eat.
The lady who was 103 was bright as a bag of buttons! She very earnestly said to me 'So what would you suggest I change in my diet?'
To which I replied 'At 103, lovely, I wouldn't change a thing!'
