Christmas is coming

I love this photograph.  Taken by Mike Carney, it shows the narrow boats in the background, resting on the Macclesfield canal which runs just outside my studio.  Of course, I asked him to take it to show my new mosaic Christmas tree decorations off, which I think it does!

Waterside Creativity Abound!

Hello!

I am so sorry I have not blogged for such a long time!  I have been SOOOOO busy with the move and lots of workshops.

The mosaic mirror workshops are going really well and so are my new Jewellery making workshops.  Of course, it helps that the location of the studio overlooks the canal and we are next to a lovely cafe.

Just this morning I spent 20 minutes at the Bollington Arts Centre, collecting fir cones off the drive. Sigh - what bliss!

There is such a hive of activity here at the Clarence Mill.  IT is taking shape and the shop will be open VERY soon.

In the meantime, here are some photos from recent workshops:

Can you believe it is 4 weeks since the BAMM Northern Lights group met up!  I did a Mod Roc workshop which we all loved but it was a little bit of a rush getting the room ready -I'd only moved into the studio the day before!

And then our Tuesday evening Art class.  IT was such bliss to walk outside the studio and collect beautiful plants to work from.

Everyone has said how lovely the spot is and I have to agree.  I could not think of a lovelier place to just 'be'.

I cannot believe how busy I have been!

Before I start wittering on about the new studio, I have some photos from one of the recent mosaic for beginners for children.

We had a lovely day and everyone made a gorgeous mirror!

The GOOD news is that The Creative Space Studio is moving to Clarence Mill! A slightly bigger but better set out, the new studio is directly overlooking the canal and next to the very gorgeous Cafe Waterside.

I have LOTS of new ideas for courses, particularly the mosaic jewellery ones - you can also stock up on your Christmas pressies!

Ok - the sun is streaming through the studio window so I'm going to make a last mosaic in here before I start packing.

Saturday Morning Mosaic Heaven

What more can I ask - lovely weather, lovely people and gorgeous mosaics. Proving to be popular, my mosaic mirror introductory workshop is certain to be a mainstay of my provision. Looking forward to welcoming some new members to my wonderful regulars!

Bollington Brewery Logo Mosaic
